Use F16 in PDM to create a PDM option, called something like 'CO' (or whatever you can remember easily later). The command is CHGOBJOWN OBJ(&L/&N) OBJTYPE(&T) NEWOWN(fill in the new owner). (Note that, before adding your own custom PDM options, you may want to create your own PDM option file and override to it in F18 of PDM. That way, you won't have any conflicts with any other programmers working on the same machine.) Then use PDM to group your objects in a subset. Put 'CO' (or xx or whatever you called it) as on option on the first object. F13 copies it to the rest of the items on the list, hit enter, and voila! all object's owners changed. I think there is also a TAATOOL that will let you change all objects owned by a particular owner to another owner. kk ---------- > From: David Murphy <dmurphy@teleport.com> > To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' > Subject: Changing Object owner > Date: Wednesday, March 04, 1998 5:00 PM > > Is there a way I can change the ownership of a group of objects from one > user profile to another in one fell swoop.
