  • Subject: TCP/IP Printing to an IP address and Port
  • From: "Marc Zylka" <mzylka@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Today, I was given an Intel NetPort Express Pro to use to hook up a serial
printer. The NetPort is like an HP Jet Direct except it has 2 parallel
ports
and 1 serial port. According to the instructions, Unix instructions of
course,
I need to send the output to the IP address and specify the port number.
The
port numbers are 3001, 3002, and 2501.

The question is: Where do I specify the port number? It's not one of the
output queue parameters.

We're on V3R2.

Thanks in advance,
Marc Zylka (mzylka@netpath.net)
