Tim, Put the test library ahead of the production library in your library list (or take the production library out), and as long as the physical file exists (do that one first), and all should be well. There may be a problem if any of the logical file DDS specifies a library for the PFILE. I haven't tried this. After duplicating the logicals, verify by running DSPDBR on the physical files, or (if you're doing a whole database) DSPFD for *ALL files to an outfile and search for the original library name. Do this also for the production library, and look for the test library name. hth Pete Pete Hall peteh@inwave.com http://www.inwave.com/~peteh/ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
