Is it just me or is this rather $hort cycled support period and very
untimely

>>Monday Morning AS/400 Update - February 16, 1998

V3R2/V3R7 Service Termination. IBM put everyone on notice
that effective May 31, 2000, it will end program services
for OS/400 V3R2 and most V3R2 licensed programs. This means
that IBM will cease all product defect resolution services.
Clearly, the company is encouraging everyone to upgrade to
RISC systems running Version 4 or above by that date. As for
V3R7, IBM is ending program services on June 30, 1999. If
you're running V3R7, I'd advise you to move to V4 by that
date. For more details, see Announcement Letter #298-030.<<

Oh well just another thing to do before 2000.

CISC & V3 are to die by the turn of the Century <<?>>
