This sounds kind of funny. They want you to do Y2K work on their as/400, but won't upgrade because they think the AS/400 won't be around in 3-5 years. Well, if they feel that strongly, why are they contracting someone to do Y2K work on a machine that they don't believe they will have in 3-5 years? Why wouldn't they be migrating now to a different platform? Just shows the "smarts" of some people. Bradley V.
