 Okay, 

        Why not do this with the products available today, it should be 
 a whole lot more secure..

      (VPN Agent)---Internet---- (SNG With VPN Host) -----                     
Encypted                              |

                                OR                        | -- LAN   
           Client                                         |
        Dial-up Network ------------ 8235 RAS Server  -----
                                       Shiva Server

        With either of these PCcom 4.2 or TN5250, or even CA/400
 should work fine for you..
