COMMON UPDATE: CONFERENCE COMING TO LOUISIANA IN APRIL If you need to budget for it, you have about three months left to make your plans for COMMON's spring conference in New Orleans April 19-24. COMMON has scheduled more than 900 sessions and hands-on labs, with four main industry-pressing focus areas that will be covered in-depth at the New Orleans conference: * Java * Lotus Notes and Domino * Year 2000 * Windows NT A new feature to this conference is the addition of COMMON University Seminars, which feature focus tracks to cover a single topic in a concentrated, one-day seminar format through a series of coordinated sessions. About 150 vendors will also display and promote their wares at the Expo in more than 80,000 square feet of Louisiana Superdome exhibit space. Products discussed in educational sessions will now be linked more directly to the Expo participants so attendees can more easily find the solutions that are covered.
