You can usually do this with an ICF file and RPG program. You would need an Asynchronous line description, controller and device. You'll have to know the protocol of the scale. Usually the manufacturer will have a set of control codes that allow you to connect to the scale, reset the weight, read the weight, etc. Hope this helps!
