Thank you all for the suggestions! I'm still using the 10-minute wait;
I've never seen QINTER wait more than 10 minutes before ending when
usind ENDSBS QINTER *IMMED.

I'm in the process of testing the program. (It's difficult to test in
the evening when people insist on working late!)
