RE: Does anyone ever need to know what "next Friday" is?

It was very difficult.  All their checks were pre-printed with  "9__"
for the year, and they had to add extra beads to all those counting
strings they used !

        Talking about this Y2K problem makes me wonder how they handled
the year 1000
        problem Y1K must have been hard - with no computers !
