 I agree that QCMDEXC has etreme limitations in RPG when it comes to error
checking.  Doesn't the QCAPCMD API remove those restrictions?  For a one or
2 liner it's probably easier than having to create and manage another
source member and object on the system.  SInce most of my RPG pgms tend to
have a CL wrapper, this is usually not an issue, but for those cases that
it's not needed, I may make an exception.
