Memory is fuzzy but...

For a CALL opcode, you can place an indicator in the LO column of the
indicator fields. If the call fails, the indicator will be set on and you
can handle the error as you wish, rather than having the system burp out an
exception message.

Subject: QCMDEXC question

I am making a call to QCMDEXC from an RPG program. The
command being executed is CRTPF. I recieve a CPF7302 level
40 message 'File ABC not created in library XYZ. I need away to
monitor and ignore the message if the file already exists; I plan
to overwrite the previous file.
Any help would be appreciated.
