You may want to put a dummy character in 256th position of the parameter when
passing to the CLP. This is weird but this is what we were doing, before we
moved to ILE.

Subject: Problems with QCMDEXC parameter

Help,

I'm passing a parameter to a CLP that is later used as a command for
QCMDEXC. The parameter is defined as having a length of 256. However,
there appears to be a lot of garbage trailing after the value that is
passed.

I'm sure I've seen a workaround for this, but have had no luck in finding
it.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks,

Stephen Hunt
