I liked this article: ________________ IBM DEVELOPS AS/400 COURSE IN JAVA IBM has developed a beta Java version of its "AS/400: Getting to Know Your System" computer-based training course that it ships free with each AS/400. The 20-hour course teaches introductory, conceptual, and day-to-day operational skills for the AS/400. You can check out a demo of the new version on the Web now at http://www.training.ibm.com/ibmedu/as400. The demo is a prototype for future Internet-delivered AS/400 courses, IBM says. It contains an interactive module, System Management Tasks, and takes about 25 minutes to complete. Any Java-enabled browser should let you view the demo. It takes about two minutes to download, the interface is intuitive, and performance is solid, although not as fast as the CD-based original version of the course.
