Bob, I am using a PC version of VI as my editor, and just use FTP to move move source files back and forth as needed. This makes doing C/C++ very easy when going between the AS/400 and the RS/6000. For RPG and stuff I maining use good old SEU through the PCOMM 4.2 which now has full TCP support. What ships with the VA/RPG and JAVA tools for editors these days ??
