How would I find a library named QGPL or >a file in my library, like "BOOTH/QRPGSRC" or a member like >"BOOTH/QDDSSRC/ARFILE" Beats me. I don't know FTP. Keep in mind that multi-membering is a concept that is (just about) an AS/400 exclusive. It's unknown to SQL, and many of the new database functions added to OS/400 don't support it. It just so happens that it works very well for source files, but my guess is that IBM had it to do over again, they would have done source files differently. One of the severe penalties Rochester pays for in an architecture where 'everything works forever' is backwards compatability. It preserves your investment in programming. Tell that to the next person that boasts to you about NT. Remember, Microsoft runs the core of their business on the AS/400. They just don't like to talk about it.
