If you haven't already changed the "Change configuration while active" to Yes, and you're having problems finding who is using the S/36EE when you try to do a CHGS36, just find the culprit with: WRKOBJLCK #LIBRARY *LIB ... You won't be able to change anything if it's 'N' unless you end all S/36 jobs. By "job" that includes your signon. You must sign on as a *NONE special environment (SPLENV) user profile parameter and even at that you may still have to issue a ENDS36 command. If you receive something like #LIBRARY not available now, try later message, check for any unanswered messages (print queues), end writers, end QBATCH/QINTER if you have to. Sometimes that's the only way to inact the CHGS36. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
