Again, it all depends on "what" you are trying to do with them.... In one case, the customer was looking at replacing several PC's with newer stuff, but he also needed 400 conections, so, we installed a NT server, ethernet on the 400, installed WinCenter Pro and put the whole thing on the 400, so now ALL PC's being replaced will be Network Stations, and NO more Pc's will be purchased, with the exception of the Server, when it's needed.. They also decided to put EVERYBODY on the same set of pc software(SmartSuite 97) and now all folks have the same look and feel, this really helps on training...... Emulation is standard PC5250 look alike and they really enjoy multi-sessions, although, we have now found out that 8 meg is NOT enough for certain terminals, The customer also plans to replace 5250 terminals with Network Stations as terminals die off...... There is a twinax version coming (February I think), which will be nice for shops just looking for terminal emulation..... There is now (after I almost killed myself) a Network Manager for Nt Servers running WinCenter Pro.... I believe, you are going to see a "LOT" more of these devices, because, with all the hoopla over Java, these are the natural way to go....... Just my experiences (I wasn't all that happy to start with) but I'm starting to come around.....
