One solution is to call a CL program I suppose.  Write the CL to display
the screen for you.   When you "14" the DDS screen, choose F4, then F10
for additional parms, and set the WAIT time in the DDS screen.  Then,
write the CL with WAIT(*NO). 

fyi, I know that it can be done in RPG; I've done it.  I just don't
remember right now how...
