I have used a little REXX program that can read a save file and place it into a flat file, and the same procedure can be used to copy the data bax to a save file. Once the save data is in a flat file, any file transfer program should be able to send the data. The REXX language source is only a few lines, and can be sent as source, so the recipient can use it. I can't recalll, but ai believe REXX is interpeted, so no compiler is requires. If a compile is required, REXX must be part of the base, because my client is too cheap to have bought it.

I do not have the source here, but aI originally retrieved it from either Midrange or News/400 site on the net.
