I believe someone on this list has written or is writing/testing > some date routines that are free<?>. CEEDAYS has incredible date conversion functions and is part of the OS (system API). It is, in fact, what is used when you specify the DATE opcodes in RPG IV. If you DSPPGM on an RPG IV program that has DATE routines, you'll find some service programs listed that have names like QCEAW or some such. You'll also see the CEEDAYS procedure listed there. The date range for CEEDAYS goes back at least, I think, to 1560-something (start of Gregorian calendar) and forward to some ridiculous time (9999, I think). There are formatting options, the likes of which you have to see to believe. All easily called from any ILE program/module, including CLLE.
