Jeff, I had written a CCA programs for a direct mail application at a company I worked before. The programs were made up of a never-ending batch program that did the authorization, and data entry programs that wrote records to a data-que that was keyed by terminal name. The batch program used ASYNC com port on the AS/400 to call the bank. If this is what you are looking for I might be able to dig up some of the source code for you. It would be written in RPG. And I would be willing to try and answer any questions you might have, provided I can remember back that long (was about 5 years ago). It can be done. The biggest hurdle was the banks and testing, they are only used to working with PC apps and were of no help! Good Luck. -- Jim Lowary | | || /| | |/ | | | | | | /| | |/ | | SYNAPSE Communications, Inc. ____|_| _ http://www.synapse.com (_______)| \ (_______)| )---------------------------------------- (_______)| )---------------------------------------- (______)|_/ | | Tech-Support: (800) 457-5250 | | BBS: (573) 886-0738 | | || office@synapse.com || || | | +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
