I assume that's because the library itself is an object, probably a list of the objects subsumed by it. Then this raises the issue—do we get the size of the library object, or the size of the library's contents? E.g., were we to DSPLIB and total the sizes, we don't include the size of the *LIB object itself.

Now, format OBJD0100 of QUSROBJD returns the ASP for each object. But do we know whether Kirk needs that much fineness of detail? Kirk? I think the library approach may be close enough, especially for a moving target like this, and with the use of some appropriate fudge/safety factor. Eh?

FWIW, here's the manual's description of the ASP value:
