Chuck,

Create a file on the /400 that matches the columns in the spreadsheet,
then transfer this (empty) file to the PC, allowing the transfer program
to create the .fdf for you (get your real file out of the way, or it
will get cleared). Then just use the .fdf to transfer the real file up
to the /400 file that you created in step 1.
