If the far end can pretend it's say, a VT-100, then it *may* be possible. If you call the far end, I think you'll have to have modems that will dial when varied on (similar to the paging via ESC modem thread.) After that, you're "talking" to a VT-100 (or whatever ASCII terminal you choose.) If it's a pretty simple file transfer, you should be able to convert from ICF to DSPF with very little difficulty. If the far side calls you, you may have a bit more trouble. They'll have to change their programming to sign on to the /400 and call the transfer program, which will then send data "screen by screen" to the caller. Good luck!
