In QGPL/QDDSSRC there should be a source member QDSIGNON. Copy it ( I would make sure to leave the original source unmodified in case you want to start over). You can use SDA to then modify it to your hearts content. There are a couple of things to watch out for - 1.) Don't change the sequence of the input fields, 2.) Don't change the indicators used currently, 3.) when compiling, make sure your resulting file matches the QDSIGNON file (MAXDEV, LVLCHK, and DEV are a few I can think of). Once compiled you need to change the subsystem description to use the new DSPF: CHGSBSD SBSD(QINTER) SGNDSPF(lib/newfile). Couple of thoughts: start simple and then go from there, I never modify an existing subsystem but use a copy and work with them, you may have to end and start the subsystem - I can't remember. We use a modified signon screen to display our logo (using text characters, of course), non-display fields we don't use (program/procedure, menu, and current library), and display a customer controlled message on the display. I don't think I've left out anything important but if I have I'm sure someone will let us know.
