We just had noted PC industry author/guru Mark Minasi give a presentation
last pm at our User's Group on the directions of PC's and PC systems.  He
had some really interesting things to say about NT and some of the really
nice stuff coming out with NT 5.  But the summation was basically, "It's
SOLID"...and people are writing native apps for it...
