I, for one, think this is a fine idea.  I've been working on our Java
implementation for some time, now, and would love to see Java-related
discussions regarding the /400. 

Oh, and thanks for the fine job you do adminstrating this mailing list. 
It's great to have a place to 'lurk' (and occasionally contribute) to
/400 discussions.
