Because a validation program may need to REDO all the validation performed in the original CPP it is a redundant PAIN / PAIN / PAIN / PAIN. Sorry to tell you no easy way out. Now What if ... You display al QPWD* System values and interpret them and present those values prior to the execution of the QSYS/CHGPWD command / *OR / Somehow you get to manipulate the Help Pannel Group for the command (if you can write your UIM Interface) / *OR / (It does not work all the time) Deactivate/Activate your attention program to give you those values in some sort of Window.
