SQL comes (sorta) on every as/400. but if you don't have sql/400 it gets a little tricky to use it - you have to key the sql commands into a separate source member and compile it. NEWS400 and Midrange Computing both have several articles on "Query Manager Queries". - see CRTQMQRY and STRQMQRY (I think) for more info.
