I _do_ try, Neil. I always, always recommend raid or mirroring. A customer has the right to decide to pass on disk protection, but I never forget to show them what the costs are and tell them why I think it is worth spending. A customer with reasonable credit can finance that $8k machine for about $240 a month, right? With an additional 4 gig drive for mirroring it comes to about $300 a month (financing, it's $90 for maint.). That was just a quick look at the configurations, since I really never have had anyone buy a machine that small and I don't know if I could fit any software on it.
