PTF SF38007 (V3R2M0) fixes this. Available 1997/02/11 - but for some
strange reason it hasn't been placed on a cum PTF package yet (not even
the latest C7231320). Actually, SF38007 has been superseded by SF42820
(available 1997/08/18).

For RISC models, APAR SA60910 shows SF38423 (V3R6M0 - not on a cum
package) and SF38008 (V3R7M0 - this for some reason DID make it to a cum
package - C7042370).

Here's the detail from APAR SA60867:

  ERROR DESCRIPTION:
THIS APAR WAS SYSROUTED TO R370 SA60910.
When in an interactive SQL session and prompting on column
selection and sequencing for a SELECT statement only one
column is allowed to be selected.
   MSGSQL6318 F/QSQICOLL X/085D T/QSQICOLL X/085D is received.

  Additional symptom:
Prompt of SQL UPDATE of a file that contains a period in the
name will fail with msgSQL6314. For example, "FP.OPEND".

  LOCAL FIX:

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
FROM interactive SQL (ISQL), the user prompts (F4) on the
"SELECT columns" field from the SELECT prompt screen. When the
user tries to select more than one column name, the error
MSGSQL6318 (Only one selection allowed) is issued. The user
should be able to select more than one column from this prompt
screen. Only one user on this system is encountering this
  problem.

  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
Interactive SQL (ISQL) has been changed to always allow the
selection of more than one column name when appropriate.

NOTE: If a user's session only allows one column to be selected
prior to applying this PTF, the user will need to reset
their session. To reset their session, the user will
be required to press the prompt key (F4) from the "ISQL
        Statement Entry" screen.

  CIRCUMVENTION:
To reset an ISQL session so that the selection of more than one
column name is allowed again, do the following:

    - STRSQL <Enter>
    - CREATE TABLE <F4>
    - Type in a table name and define 1 column.
    - Press <F4> to prompt on the column just defined.
    - Change Column CONSTRAINT to "Y" and press <Enter>.
    - Press <Enter> to add a constraint.
    - Change the Type to 3 (FOREIGN KEY) and press <Enter>.
    - Type in an existing file name for the REFERENCES File and
press <F4> from the REFERENCES Column field.
    - Exit from the CREATE TABLE prompt <F3>.
