No big secret. I just check SF97320 every couple of weeks and download PTF's that look interesting (I scan on date in 17-24 starting with current date, when I find one that looks interesting I use another 5250 session to do SNDPTFORD xxnnnnn and take option '2' to 'Do not send now'. When I've done all the SNDPTFORD's I do a SBMJOB CMD(SNDSRVRQS *PREPARED) to download them all in batch). I read the cover letters to learn of anything that may be of use. I know others have automated the SNDPTFORD task to order all new PTF's automatically, but I want to see the detail so I know what's happening. I also have IBMLink SERVicelink access to check any APAR's or scan the Q n& A databases.
