  • Subject: Max records for file on Advanced/36
  • From: Russ Khoury <russk@xxxxxxx>

Hi All:

I'm trying to find the maximum # of records in a file for Advanced/36 w/SSP
only. According to the BLDFILE procedure the records value can be from 1 to
8,000,000. I seem to remember seeing a number in the 4 million range years
ago. I'm pretty sure that the record capacity of the AS/36 is the same as
the original 36. If anyone has bumped into the max or knows, I'd appreciate
it. TIA.
