>I need some help with setting all our AS400s to the same time. Network/communication delays won't let us use one of them as >the master. We have machines as widespread as from Florida to Utah, Texas to Minnesota. This is probably not what you want/need but I will throw it out as a suggestion. At the NEWS/400 site they have a freeware package that will synch your system with the National Bureau of Standards. One might possibly get good synchronization if all machines synched with the NBS. The URL is http://www.news400.com/400shareware/. The product is described as follows: Description - This program sets the AS/400 system clock using an async comm line/modem by calling the National Bureau of standards. It is not precise but should be within +/- 1-2 seconds. Author: Joe Hubele. File Name - http://www.news400.com/sharewarefiles/settime.zip Licensing - Freeware System Type - AS/400 Unsophisticated but it could work. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
