That's because if you check WRKDIRE you will see there is a default
entry QSECOFR @ QSECOFR that IBM puts in there.
DON'T mess with it - it's needed for many things, including PTF
application for Client Access.
Your solution of sending to a different id was the right thing to do.
We usually enroll QPGMR in the system directory on all customers
machines, so we know we can always send a network file to
QPGMR@customers_system_name
