That reminds me of back when I was on the S/36 and I made a 3 line change
to an OCL procedure that caused a program, that usually ran 12-15 hours, to
run in 45 minutes.

The users were so sceptical about the change in performance, they spent 2
days validating the results.

All I did was change the IBLOCK & DBLOCK paramaeters and the region size
(IBLOCK & DBLOCK were reversed).
