Carol:
The , would not work because it is part of the Hayes AT command set and
that modem when coupled with an AS400 using the V25BIS autodial standard.
Just FYI, a < sign is the equivalent of the , for V25bis.  I think that
little bit of info, as well as the complete command set for V25bis is in
the UDS V3225, V3229 and V3400 manuals.
