Your batch job would run on only one of the 4 processors.
The 50S 2122 has a CPW rating (V3R7) of 130.7 for the Client
Server/Batch type jobs.
Equivalent rating for a 530 2153 would be 459.3 - but divide that by
four (4-way processor) and you get 114.8 which would be roughly the
performance rating for your batch job on a single processor (would
probably be a bit higher than the CPW total / 4). Still, probably won't
run faster on a 530 2153.
A 530 2162 or a 53S 2157 with a CPW of 509.9 would be approx 127.5 for a
single processor - still slower than the single processor 50S 2122.
What about a single processor 53S 2154 with a CPW of 162.7 ?
Or wait until August 19th and take a look at your options again.
