  • Subject: HP PCL & PRTF?

Hello all,
I have a very nice AS400 RPG job that outputs its PRTF wonderfully under
normal circumatances. I am now trying to use PCL (Hewlett Packard Laser
Jet 4 supplied character strings to embed in the output specs) these
embedded strings allow your printout to be printed landscape and at 6
LPI. Every time my printout encounters one of these strings it adds a
blank page between my pages. The start string I am using is ^E&l1o6D
(this is a string to cause the printout to landscape @ 6LPI then at end
of each page I send the reset PCL string ^E. It is landscaping
beautifully except thes skipped pages between printed pages, I even
tried to use the just the PCL strings themselves to make my PRTF skip to
next page.. instead of a SKIPB keyword. Any suggestions are very much
appreciated.
