Re: PC printer, Win95, Client Access, TCP/IP

You need to run a LPR/LPD software on you desktop.  I recommend (no
connection or financial interest, just a happy user) NI Print from Network
Instuments (you can find them on the Web and d/l a 1 month trial of the
software).
Then config an AS400 outq to point to the *IP address of your desktop.  As
far as I know, since you need to a constant IP address you can't use DCHP
to have your IP address assigned.  Maybe in a future release of the 400 you
can specify a domain name and have the IP address looked up rather than
permanantly assigned.
