We have had Novell 4.11 running on the IPCS for the last couple of months. Twice we have had to recreate the server description, IPX description, circuit description etc. to get the server to activate after nightly backups. As far as we can tell, this occurs when we run out of space on one of the volumes within one of the storage spaces, then take the server down automatically for backup without correcting the situation. Unfortunately, we are not getting any type of break message to tell us that we are out of space on that volume. Is there a way to broadcast a message to the IS staff that there is an out of space condition? Has anyone else had this happen? Does this sound like a logical explaination for the damaged objects (storage space)? Thanks.
