I assume that the logical files have to be changed from CISC to RISC, this 
might occur for every byte? I don't know it actually, but this might explain 
this behaviour. If you restore without access paths the system has to rebuild 
the access path which is faster at a RISC machine. The changing from CISC to 
RISC is only a small portion, 'cause the logical file is empty in this case. 
So the overall performance is better.
