Greg -- define 4 files to the program. File A is INPUT_PRI and CHAIN_A; file B is INPUT_SEC and CHAIN_B. Read thru INPUT_PRI and, for each record, chain to CHAIN_B; note all instances where no match is found. Then read thru INPUT_SEC (if defined as input secondary, RPG will automatically read it after it's done processing the primary) and, in a similar fashion, chain to CHAIN_A, noting missing matches. Of course, old S/3 programmers like me use matching record processing ... Does ILE RPG even allow this any more?
