Does anyone know when RPG stopped requiring Factor 1 on the READE opcode or if was ever required. I was pretty sure that it was required at some Release. It seems by not requiring factor 1 a door is wide open for logic errors. For example the typical filekey setll filename followed by a filekey reade filename. If the reade is missing the filekey in factor 1. the reade is matched against the full key of the current record (I guess the record that the file cursor is sitting under) based on the record format used which may or may no be the same as the key specified on the setll.
