If someone has a problem which they post to Midrange-L and a vendor has a solution to that problem, is there anything wrong with the vendor sending a response indicating they have a solution as long as they also indicate they sell the product? There have been several instances in the past when we have "discovered" products of which we were not aware based on someone's (perhaps a vendor's) response to a question. Knowing what is availble on the market is as valuable as knowing how to make Client Access work or how to code something in RPG IV or CL. I do not want to see Midrange-L become an advetiser's paradise. Nor do I want to be precluded from learning about other people's solutions to problems just because the person who knows about the solution also happens to sell it.
