We have adopted a simple standard in a multiple machine environment, We create a flag file on each machine with the name equal to the system name...usually this is placed in QUSRSYS....on every other machine in the environment , we create DDM files linked to the flag files on the other machines....that way you always have a path to the remote machines and you know exactly where you DDM is going....by using a system file, you have to steer it to the right machine all the time...We also use these file to test if the remote machine is up or not...
