Unofficial IBM estimates that there are about 100 System/38s still in
production.  I know of two sites in the New York area, both of which are
hopelessly mired in unobservable code.

The Y2K rating for the S/38 is *HOPELESS.

During my V3R6 testing, I did successfully migrate a System/38 to V3R6.
Haven't done a real 38 into production in three years.
