Most of the stuff in QDOC is Office/400 Documents. The only real way to
purge this stuff is to tell users to delete documents they don't need.

One way we've approached this is to do a yearly rollover of all documents.
Each of our users enrolled in Office/400 has an individual folder. At
end-of-year, we rename all folders (except the 'special' ones) with a '97'
at the end (or whatever year is ending). We make this renamed folder read
only to the user who owns it. We then create a new, empty folder for the
user. Then, we save and delete the '96' folder.

There may be APIs available now that will let you scan all documents and
delete just the 'old' ones, but the rollover gives users a sense of
security that you won't wipe out their documents unless they know about it.
