Rich,

Go to my WEB page and check out the Knowledgebase page and read the
differences between the various flavors of RPG.

Just two points, however, There is NO difference between RPG IV and what
you call "RPG ILE". However, there is nothing known as "RPG ILE" in
production today. Many people involved with the beta program for RPGIV
(when it was called "ILE RPG") still call it that, but the official name is
"RPG IV".

Point two: The machine type is CISC, not CICS (mainframe roots showing?
<g>)
